President's Weekend

I dont know about you, but my long weekend has rocked. Big time. What if I told you that you could go to some beautiful cabin on a golf course where there is snow with two super fun people for 2 nights? Wouldnt you jump up and down with excitment at just the thought of such an offer? Well, thats what I got to do! Yes, be jealous.

We got the awesome treat to go with Lauren and Jason in Cle Elem. So much fun! In case you didn't know, Lauren was my private irish dance teacher. I met her in 6th grade and since then we have been good friends. I always wanted a big sister, and Lauren has totally filled that spot for me. She is no longer a teacher to me, but a really close friend. And her husband Jason, well he is just one of those people that everyone loves. So we had a total blast. We went and played up in the mountains, played card games, hung out, learned how to play Guitar Hero, tried piecing together a puzzle, talked, and laughed. So in my book, thats as good as it gets! Oh! And Lauren taught me how to make/cook/bake.... I dont know what to say.... bacon! So that was exciting!

They day we were out in the snow was absolutely gorgeous! Not a cloud in the sky, bright blye skies! It was glorious... (Yes Lauren, I just used your word).

Here are some pictures of our little adventures....

Look at my brother. He's a stud.

Look at all that snow!!

And yes, they REALLY are super heros.

My little penguin sister...

Sledding fun....

So first Lauren smiled...

then I smiled...

Then we both smiled. :)

Notice Jason in the background chucking a snowball at my head....

Why, Hello Golf...

It is coming... Golf. And because I am so deeply concerned about how I do this golf season and will aim for nothing less then perfect (BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!) I have started going the range to get back into the swing of things.... Get it? SWING of things? man... I am full of good jokes.

...We are so cute...

So on Thursday Maddie and I went to go with Jake. Now let me tell you, Jake is pro. He is going to State. Yea... I know. Crazy. And Maddie and I...? Well lets just say if Maddie or I hit it farther then 100 yards, we are so excited. Like jump up and down excited. And if we actually hit it straight... well, then it all the sudden becomes the best day ever. So us, going with Jake was quite interesting. We just went to the range. We were there for 2 hours, and talked more then hit golf balls, and had a total blast. It was good to get some tips for Mr. Pro and get back into the feel of swinging a club around.

Today Maddie and I went out to the Hawks Prarie golf course... just cause. And it was fun. I love hanging out with Maddie, we crack ourselves up. Like we laugh at stuff that isnt funny, at all. But for some reason we just crack up about it. For instance, while we were at the range, we all the sudden found these little tubs that you can wash your clubs in absolutley hilarious. We were cracking up. Are they funny? No. Are they suppose to be funny? No. Were we thinking they were funny? Yes.
Yea, were cool...

So basically it is good to get back into this sport and I am excited for golf to start. Oh, and I would like to let you know that I am sore. Yes, sore... from golf. But seriously, all that twisting makes you sore. Laugh all you want...

Happy

It is sunny... the sky is blue... and I am one happy girl.  Youth group last night rocked, Cubbies are tonight, and golf is right around the corner.  I have been growing a lot spiritually and learning lots from God. God has provided me with strong Christian girls and guys as friends... the best friends I could ever think of.  School is flyin' by, Reposess is coming up soon, I am signed up for the Reposess confrence (thank you... thank you very much). I can drive... by myself. And there is a big Snicker bar waiting for me in my room.  And well... It just makes me... happy :)
And just to add to all of this happiness here is a picture that makes me happy. This is Hailey and I at the SNOW retreat enjoying some hot cocoa by the fire out in the snow. Ahhh....

Friday Nights...

I love Fridays. Love love love Fridays. You dont have to do homework and I usually end up hanging out with the oh so wonderful Maddie. So today i drove over to her house around 5:30... (Can I just say that being able to just drive myself somewhere is the most wonderful thing ever? It rocks. Dont have to count on my mom to take me home. I love it!) and we ate dinner and watched an episode of The Middle, which is super funny by the way. We made cookies the size of the moon and basically just hung out the whole time.  I have the coolest best friend ever. No doubt about it. THEN!... the webcam... SING GLORIA! I know that all of you are sick and tired of all of my dumb webcam pictures. But I am not, and these are filled with memories.

So, you can skip over these if you want. But I am so glad to be blogging them so I can remember all of the crazy little jokes we made that night.

All was going great... we were no cloud 9.

Oh 24...

I'm tellin ya, we were having a blast... but....

Maddie decided to bring out the styrofoam... I wasnt sure how things would go.

It was terrible. Stupid styrofoam. I have it. so much. She is quite pleased with herself.

But we are still buddies...

There is a story behind this... dont worry about it.

Then we made a music video to a rocker song. So much fun. SO so so so so so so so so much fun. All I have to say is... RAISE YOUR GLASS!

Great night! Amazing friend. I love you Maddie!

My Birthday...

So, I dont have any pictures. Which is sad. But, I will just have to explain it.

So on January 28th, I went to sleep planning on waking up around 7:30 and ready to go to the DOL by 8:15 to go get my license. Well... thats not exactly what happened. Around 6:30 I wake up the hall way lights turning on and then suddenly turning off. I ignored it and fell back asleep.  A few minutes later I barely open my eyes and see my friend Emma standing across the room. I thought I was dreaming or something and went back to sleep. A few seconds later I hear Alli laughing. I open my eyes and see 7 of the best people ever standing around my bed. Alli, Kay, Maddie, Emma, Alaina, Mrs. Shier, and Jake. Weirdest feeling ever to wake up to people just looking at you and then yelling, "SUPRISE!!!!" They were originally going to kid nap me and throw a blankey over my head, but I woke up and ruined that plan. They still put me in their car and off we went. I didnt know where we were going and they put a blankey on my head. Then, we arrived at IHOP! They put me in a tierra, a birthday girl sash. I had so much fun! I have the best friends ever. Thanks guys for such a fun surprise.

Best People Ever...

Okay, I am not sure why, but this horrible picture makes me laugh. We were watching a youtube clip on Jake's phone. Good ole Balloon Shop...

Thank you Mrs. Shier for all of my decorations...

we rock

They make me laugh.

Then... MY LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know how long I have wanted a license? A long time. LONG LONG LONG time. Well... TA DA! I got one! sweet deal. I went with my mom to go pick my license up and then we came home. I promised Thomas that I would take him out to lunch. We we went to McDonalds and then Jamba Juice. Driving by yourself is weird, but a good weird. Then i came home, and drove to Maddie's house to watch some 24. It is so nice to just be able to get up and go somewhere without having to ask your parents first or plan your schedule around theirs.

Around 5:00 I had some girls over and we just hung out.  Hailey, Alli, Kay, Maddie, and Emma came over. We had Teriyaki chicken for dinner and for dessert we had ice cream with a ton of toppings. It is always fun to just hang out. They are the coolest group of girls ever. I am so blessed to have friends like them.  The night consisted of learning the "Ho-Down Throw Down" from the Hannah Montana Movie, stupid you tube videos, Swing dancing, and laughing. Good night.

My sixteenth birthday was awesome, I loved it. Layed back, fun surpirses and the best friends I could ever ask for!
