Melting Pot

Well... sense we are learning about how America is a "Melting Pot" in AP US History, which is my FAVORITE CLASS (I hope you are able to catch the sarcasm even though this is only through a blog post)... I figured this blog post would be a melting pot of everything going on in my life. Just throw in some random stuff..

TO START! This weekend has been so much fun! On Saturday I hung out with Jake for the majority of the day. Our day long date consisted of Tye-dye, a trip to Joannes, Starbucks, Happy Teriyaki, 24, Cars 2, Limeberry, and just being bums sitting on the couch talking and wathcing movies with Tessa and Piper. GOOD DAY! Thats a perfect day in my opinion. Wanna make happy? Just give me a day to hang out with Jake and do all sorts of fun stuff like that. Tye-dye was a SUCCESS! My shirt turned out amazingly, so did Tessa's and Jakes.

So... We had to go to Joannes to get the tee shirts for the Tye-dying and so Amy went with us cause she needed to get some yarn for knitting. And we basically bought out the yarn department. Let me tell you... People at craft stores and a breed of their own... Anyways... Jake and I were the yarn carriers. And this picture below basically wraps it up. Jake had to put his coffee cup in his pocket cause we had so much yarn. And this picture just cracks me up... Goodness...

Lets just take a moment to bask in the amazing-ness of this glorious picture....

Okay... Now, not only am I standing next to my favorite person... BUT!!! Starbucks has brought out the Red Coffee cups. WORLD! This is a big deal for me! I dont think you truely understand how much I love these cups. Jake makes fun of me cause I love them so much and doesnt see the TRUE BEAUTY of these cups... Ahh... So he bought me my first Peppermint Mocha in a red starbucks cup.... What a keeper. :)

Moving right along... last weekend was North Thutsons homecoming... so Maddie and I were rebels and didnt want to go. So we hung out for the whole day and had a total blast. We were laughing so hard the whole day, which isnt anything out of the ordinary for us... but goodnes.... my gut hurts after hanging out with Maddie cause all we do is laugh and laugh and laugh. We think we are hilarious. Its crazy. BUT! We wanted to make tee shirts. And being the 2 clever girls we are, we wanted to make tee shirts that made a smiley face. So my shirt had the parentheses on it, and hers had a colon. So when we stand next to each other it makes a smiley face. Oh gosh... we crack ourselves up

                                 See how funny we are?

Goodness... but the true adventure was when we had to go to Michaels to go get the tee shirts. We are total creepers and took pictures of every freak on the street. And for some reason, all the whacky people of Lacey decided to come out of their cardboard boxes on this sunny Saturday.

Example A:

Capturing this picture of Maddie's husband took a lot of effort. But once we got it.... well lets just say Ive never been so proud.

Example B:

This is Maddie and I in 50 years

Example C:

And then the shirt making began...

My cute little hobo/lumberjack best friend...

ACTUALLY! This was my proudest moment. This picture was taken on accident and is priceless... the more you look at it the funnier it gets... My goodness...
Yummy Normas for dinner!

This was taken after we pulled over cause we were laughing so hard. I was crying and couldnt see... so we pulled into one neighborhood and just laughed for a solid 5 minutes. Holy cow... we crack ourselves up.

Love her.
And the lady in the Pumpkin suit...
Then to top off this whole glorious post... I got to see my 2 youngest cousins today. Mia and Ania dropped by with my Uncle for Nachos and just hanging out. And Ania was cracking me up... Just look at this...

These are pieces to a puzzle, but they were so funny when she would put them up to her eyes... Funny girl.

In conclusion... Life is wonderful... absolutely wonderful.
