Happy Birthday to me! So thankful for another year of living with a family who loves me, friends that make me laugh, school that challenges me, and a Savior I keep getting to know more and more. Thank you to everyone who made my day special! My grandma Jill and Uncle Todd came down from Westport and my Uncle Brett came to spend the day with us as well. Maddie and Jake came by and we had lunch and just hung out. My kinda day...

Ok, so this is how awesome Emily is. Through texting, Emily made some joke to Jake about a test about how well he knew me. And ta-da. She actually made a test about me to see how well he knows me. She made one for Maddie and my Uncle Brett as well! It turned out to be a really fun thing to do and see what people answered. Thanks Emily!

Come on Sunshine...

Ahhhh how wonderful was it to have the sunshine today? To have blue skies and sun? Perfecto. I am very done with the snow and ice, and so ready for Spring. Warmer weather, brighter colors, waking up and it not being pitch black outside. Yes, this will be wonderful. You know what else is wonderful? Maddie being able to drive me. She just picked me up for an ice cream date. A wonderful wonderful way to spend my Monday!


BUT! Back to the point here... Sun. Needs to be here now. I would like all of you to please pray for sun, do a sun dance, wear all yellow to inspire the sun to come out more... whatever it takes. This girl just needs some more sunny days!

Ice Ice Baby....

What a crazy week this has been! 10 inches of snow, ice storm, power outage.... WOWZA! Olympia was not prepared for this blast of a winter wonderland. If "Imma be honest", it was extremely nice to have this whole week of school off. Hallelujah! The power out and the ice covered in a blankey of ice sure made us all slow down. No where to go, no where you could go if you wanted to go anywhere. Just home...

Snow Day

Snow is a big deal here in good ole Washington... It does not come very often so when it does come, its pretty darn exciting. I got the privledge of having a fun snow day hanging out with the amazing Shier family. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love that whole family, they always make me feel so welcome. Love that family. So we played out in the snow, took walks, made hot chocolate, watched Hitch, Jake played around on the guitar and sang songs to Piper and I, Tessa showed me all her Webkinz, Dan made BBQ hot dogs (yummm). We ended up going to their cousins house to hang out and play Farkle for a little. Just a great great day with even greater people.
